Perhaps the greatest exponents of folktronica, Tunng's seething, swirling mix of real instrumentation underscored with a torrent of electronic samples, glitched psychedelic tracking and angelic singing puts them light years ahead of other artists in the genre. Add to this the fact they can write fantastic observational and darkly bucolic lyrics, and you have one of more interesting and cerebal bands performing live today.

Following last year's tour with members of Tuareg desert blues band Tinariwen, their visit to Band on the Wall comes on the back of their eagerly-awaited new album And Then We Saw Land.
